NYCTU Camping Trip to BeaMoc — Beaverkill Campground

Overview Spend a weekend camping with NYCTU at the Beaverkill Campground and join fellow anglers for fishing, conservation camaraderie, and outdoor skills. Meals and a campsite are included. This trip is open to members and guests; registration required due to limited space.
Location: Beaverkill Campground, Beaverkill River valley, Sullivan County, NY. The site offers direct access to seasonally productive stretches of the Beaverkill and nearby tributaries, plus established tent sites, fire rings, potable water, and restroom facilities.
What’s Included
Group campsite reservation at Beaverkill Campground (shared tent sites; site assignments at check-in)
All group meals (Breakfast and Dinner) from Saturday breakfast through Sunday Breakfast
Coffee and basic trail snacks available each morning
Guided river access guidance from NYCTU volunteers and local leaders
What to Bring (personal gear)
Tent, sleeping bag rated for season, sleeping pad
Clothing layered for cool mornings and variable weather; waders and wading boots for fishing
Fly rod and reel (recommended 4–6 wt), leader and tippet, flies appropriate for Beaverkill (nymphs, dry flies, streamers)
Headlamp or flashlight, personal first-aid kit, toiletries
NYS fishing license (required), hat, polarized sunglasses
Registration and Cost
Trip cost covers campsite reservation and all group meals; exact fee available at sign-up. Space is limited; registration required. Payment and liability waiver due at registration.
